Our goal
To provide new and enriching experiences for the children, while also enhancing their social and emotional skills as well as life skills. We aim to create unbreakable bonds not only with the children, and them with each other, but with parents and our center as a whole.

We know how hard it can be to trust someone with your world, and that is why we make it our mission to build that trust between us and parents. Whether it be through virtual updates throughout the day, sit down or phone conversations with any concerns, or even joining us on field trips, we want you to always feel apart of what we are doing, and every step of your child’s growth! I have worked with many kids over the years and I can genuinely say I looked at each of them as my own. We want this to feel like their home away from home.
Life Long Experiences
While other daycares may also be able to offer curriculum, our goal is to offer more than that, and incorporate experiences that they won’t have anywhere else. Being an at home daycare, and with our location, our children will learn about nature, and the animals and food that live and grow within it, friendly sporting games, and water activities, field trips, and so much more! We aim to give the most of the daycare experience in every way possible.
Our Curriculum
While it can be challenging at times with mixed ages we still offer a curriculum to meet the needs of each age, as well as hands on experiences on the property, community involvement and so much more! We start our mornings with circle time where we learn everything from our shapes and colors, to the sounds of our letters, our names, the weather, calendar, etc. as well as a story time and craft each day. Each of these aspects are also altered to meet the needs for the age. Our preschoolers also have journal time, writing practice and more activities geared towards ensuring they are ready for school.
A look into our staff
We are a small at home daycare and therefore have the ability to have a lower number of higher quality employees. While some corporations may have to hire employees simply to fill a position we take care in ensuring each of the people caring for your little ones truly love these kids like their own and are really meant to be apart of this daycare family.
Amber Malone - Owner
Hi everyone! As many of you know I have been working towards having my own daycare and working with children for as long as I can remember…you know when they ask you in Kindergarten what you want to be? Even then I knew I wanted to teach and it just never changed. Since then I have earned my Associates Degree, Assistant Teaching Certificate, taught as a lead Toddler Teacher, Preschool Assistant, and in a self contained room with special needs children. Aside from my work experience, I also have two beautiful nieces who have allowed me to practice all of my skills and further develop my love for children. At the end of the day I truly just love what I do, and the children and parents I get to experience it with. I am so blessed to not only be able to do what I love but to have the most amazing parents and babies by my side for it all who have given me the chance to love their babies like my own. I would love the opportunity to get to watch your children grow, and get to know you if given the chance!
Nancy Malone- Assistant
My name is Nancy Malone and I am the assistant here at Woodland Wonders Chidcare! I grew up in this area and remained here to raise my family. While to the kiddos I am known as Miss Nancy I am also a mother to two girls, one of which I get the pleasure to work with, and am a grandma to two beautiful granddaughters. Finding childcare as a career is something I never knew I needed but that I’m forever grateful that I found. The parents and their little ones have quickly become family and I can’t wait to continue to watch them grow and be there for all of their little moments! I have worked with kids for many years, babysitting for a lot of families in the area, but never got the opportunity to do it as a career until recently. I have worked at a couple different daycares as the lead toddler teacher and I feel like I have finally found my passion, found what I was meant to do. There is nothing quite like watching little minds grow and getting to know each of their amazing personalities. I can’t wait to get to be apart of more of their journeys and get to know you all as well.
Hunter O’Neal
While childcare was never the career path Hunter chose, it is a dream of mine that he has supported from the beginning. From helping us clear the land and get the house in, to building things for the kids and playing with them everytime they ask even after a full days work, he’s become a huge part of the daycare and a familiar face you will all see!
Pets
Due to this center being in home there are pets. That being said we have followed every regulation in regards to shots and licensing and while they are friendly, per licensing any incidents or additional pets would be shared with all parents. As always I want to always maintain a good relationship with parents so always reach out with any concerns.

We have worked day in and day out to clear our property by hand, and will continue to work everyday to ensure this is the perfect place for your little one to grow and learn everything possible. With the daycare sitting on 40 acres we have the ability to offer so much more than a normal facility and we make Sure to do just that! We offer a Halloween party, an Easter egg hunt, breakfast or cookies with Santa varying on request, and during the warmer months, water Wednesdays regular nature walks, gardening days, scavenger hunts and are always open to suggestions for more activities you would like to see! We would also like to offer sledding parties as well as hayrides in the future as we continue on with our journey of clearing more paths on the property!

We have officially started the food program which means that we will be providing a nutritious and filling breakfast, am snack, lunch and pm snack! We also try the make meals fun especially with the holidays!

Our ability to continually grow and make this not only a safe space for kiddos in our community but a place with never ending possibilities. With it being an in home we are also able to offer things like cookie baking, gardening, and just a feeling of having that home away from home.

When you leave your little ones here you can know that they are safe and truly loved. Working with kids has always been my passion and it will always be my goal to make sure each and every one of them know how loved they are.
